More details and common questions are on the QuickBooks support forums here.
Do you need to change your code?
Yes: If you are using an embedded browser control from within a desktop application (for example, the .NET Windows Form Web Browser Control (system.windows.forms.webbrowser
)), you’ll need to update your code. Be sure to verify that you are using the latest version of the browser enabled on the machine, and validate against the supported browsers.
No: If you are using an embedded browser control that automatically uses the latest version of the browser on the client machine (for example, the .NET IE control), you do not need to update your code.
Why is this happening now?
Due to security concerns and support for the latest JavaScript frameworks, the browsers that QuickBooks Online currently supports will also be the only browsers supported by the Intuit Developer Group, which includes the authorization screen.
