With the launch of the Intuit App Partner Program, applications in the Builder Tier are now subject to API call limits. If your application exceeds the monthly threshold of 500,000 CorePlus API calls, all further CorePlus API calls will be blocked until the following month.
What this means for your customers
We will be notifying customers who use a blocked application that the app’s sync has stopped so they understand they may not be seeing the latest data. This notification will be sent via email and will also appear within QuickBooks Online, where the application will be flagged as “Offline”.

What this means for you
Since customers will be notified that your application is offline, you should anticipate receiving support calls and inquiries from your users.
To ensure your customers receive uninterrupted service and to minimize support inquiries, proactively monitor the number of API calls using the API usage chart for your app. If you’re approaching your call limit, consider upgrading to a higher tier. Upgrading to a paid tier will increase your API call limit, helping prevent service disruption to customers.
Visit this page for more information about tiers, pricing, and the API call limits per tier.
