Today, I’m heading to the last stop of Intuit’s QuickBooks Connect Local city tour in Chicago. The Windy City will host the biggest of these events, which have also been held in Boulder and Atlanta. QuickBooks Connect Local focuses on helping small business owners grow their businesses by providing expert advice on hiring, marketing, and finance. These local events also give small business owners the chance to meet and hear from local entrepreneurs and developers, and to learn about the myriad of apps that can help them run their businesses more effectively.
If you missed these events, you can still look forward to the national QuickBooks Connect conference coming in November. We will be back in San Jose, CA, where thousands of attendees — from small business owners, to accountants, to entrepreneurs and developers — will come together to be inspired, to learn, and to network and connect. Developers can look forward to competing in our 2-day hackathon (Nov 1-2) and a full day of dev-focused content on the main day (Nov 3). Interested in exhibiting your app to thousands of potential customers? We’ve got great sponsorship opportunities for devs too.
QuickBooks Connect is a great opportunity for devs to garner feedback on their apps directly from the people who use them, to showcase their apps to a huge potential customer base, and to learn what small businesses and accountants need from you to improve their businesses.
Still not sure? Check out this highlight reel from last year’s QuickBooks Connect Hackathon and get inspired.
