It’s a new year, and with it comes a few questions. Should I make a resolution? Is there any way to make sure I keep it? How can I take my business to the next level?
Here at Intuit, we can’t help you with the first two questions, but we can offer you the opportunity to attend our Office Hours events to address the third question. During these events, you can bring questions about specific topics directly to the Intuit Developer support team. Our team members will provide answers through in-depth discussions, giving you the information you need to grow your business.
With this in mind, we’re pleased to announce three Office Hours events designed to help you navigate some important platform updates in early 2026.
January 21: refresh token policy
On January 21, 2026, at 8:00 AM (PST), our first-of-the-year Office Hours event will be focused on the upcoming changes to the refresh token policy. This is the time and place to ask any questions you have about these specific changes. Once you register, you can send us your questions, and we’ll address them during the event.
To get you up to speed with the refresh token policy, we’re requiring developers to update their OAuth flows to manage token expiration in a more proactive way. Refresh tokens are going from a 100-day use to a maximum 5-year lifespan, which will ensure that tokens are rotated more regularly.
January 27: Mailchimp Transaction API
On January 27, 2026, at 6:00 AM (PST), our second Office Hours event will be exploring the latest updates to our Mailchimp Transactional platform. Our engineering team will be on hand to answer your questions about the platform as well as our new channel, Transactional SMS.
When you register, you’ll have an opportunity to submit any questions about this specific topic, and our team will ensure they’re included in the discussion.
February 5: webhooks migration
On February 5, 2026, at 8:00 AM (PST), our third Office Hours event will be addressing the impending mandatory webhooks migration. As with the first Office Hours event, you’ll want to register so that you can send us your questions in advance.
The webhooks migration to the industry-standard CloudEvents will require developers to adapt their applications by May 15, 2026. As we note in our recent blog, Upcoming Changes to Webhooks Payload Structure, this change will offer several significant improvements over the previous format.
Let us help you get the answers you need
Don’t navigate these platform changes alone. Our Office Hours events give you direct access to the Intuit Developer support team, where you can ask questions and get real-time answers in an interactive setting.
