After careful consideration, the decision was made that Intuit can no longer continue to deliver and support QuickBooks products across India.
What is happening?
As of April 30, 2023, QuickBooks product and service offerings for accountancy and small business customers will no longer be available in India. In preparation for this change, we are discontinuing our QuickBooks app marketplace in India which will prevent new users based in India from connecting to QuickBooks integrations.
What does that mean for me?
Starting April 30, 2023:
- Developer app listings will no longer be discoverable in the India app marketplace within our QuickBooks App Store.
- QuickBooks users in India will no longer have access to their QuickBooks products, and the connections to their QuickBooks integrations will no longer be available.
- Developers may start seeing errors on API calls from impacted companies with connections to their apps.
Do I need to do anything?
No action is needed from application developers because of this change. QuickBooks customers who are impacted will be sent further communications from Intuit and are encouraged to download their data and transition out of the product prior to April 30, 2023.
